Leena Alzafarani is a junior studying Biology and Psychology with a concentration in Physics and Chemistry, and is in the WISE Honors Program. She has been involved in various activities on campus, including being the personal relations of Parkinson’s Pals, a volunteer at Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a TA for General Chemistry, and a member of the American Red Cross, Pre-Dental Society, and Audubon Society. Leena works as a surgical dental assistant and is an intern at Brookhaven National Labs at the NSLS-II. She is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and has been on the Dean's List each semester.
