Everina Mustafa-Bennett is a dedicated student pursuing a degree in globalization studies and International relations. She has been deeply involved in advocacy and community support, particularly within the foster system and for vulnerable populations. Her passion for social justice is evident through her extensive volunteer work and internships.

Everina previously served as a senator in Hand Hall Council, actively contributing to campus life and student governance. Her commitment to advocacy extends beyond the university. As an intern at the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), she focuses on incorporating youth voices into foster care policies, ensuring that the needs and perspectives of foster youth are heard and addressed.

Everina's role as a refugee resettlement intern at Journey's End allowed her to support pre-arrival preparations and long-term integration efforts for refugees. This experience enhanced her organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Additionally, her work with FosterClub and GA Family Services highlights her dedication to fostering positive change and supporting vulnerable communities.

With a strong background in leadership, advocacy, and community service, Everina brings a unique perspective and a comprehensive skill set to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Dean's Student Advisory Council (DSAC). She is excited to contribute to the council's initiatives and help shape the future of the college.
