Gabriella Simpson

PhD candidate: Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies 

Gabriella Simpson is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, currently serving as a graduate student representative. Her research interests are Critical Migration Studies, Transnational feminisms, Black feminisms, Surveillance Studies, and Disability justice. Gabriella previously served on the graduate admissions committee for the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies last academic year. Currently, she is a Dr. Turner fellowship recipient and a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Society.
