Assistant/Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

DDS/DMD from a CODA accredited institution, or equivalent foreign degree.  NYS dental license or eligibility.  Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA accredited postdoctoral program.  The certificate must be available no later than the commencement date of employment in the position described herein.

Preferred Qualifications

Board Eligible by the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) or  Board Certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP).  PhD, MS or other advanced degree.  Clinical and teaching experience within the last 5-10 years.  Experience with digital dentistry (CAD/CAM).

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Assistant/Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will serve as Director of Predoctoral Education in Prosthodontics, and will be involved in the Department's clinical, academic, research and administrative activities at both the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. Candidates should demonstrate clear potential for academic growth in teaching, clinical practice and research, and possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Special Notes

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2018.
