Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

MD/DO degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate teaching, research and administrative experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will serve as attending physician in the Stony Brook University Pediatric Emergency Department. The selected incumbent will be responsible for teaching and supervising students and residents, contributing to successful research program in Pediatric Emergency medicine and perform administrative assignments.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
