Fulbright U.S. Student Program

Campus Endorsement Deadline: Wednesday, September 3, 2025

Prestigious, nationally competitive awards for a year of overseas study, research, or teaching. All majors/disciplines are eligible and foreign language proficiency not necessarily required.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduates who will be graduating in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026
  • Graduate students who will not yet have received their PhD by Fall 2025
  • Recent alumni
  • All majors/disciplines
  • U.S. citizens
  • Must meet any country-specific requirements
  • Must apply by the Campus Endorsement Deadline

Overview

If you are an undergraduate who will be graduating in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026, consider applying by the September 3rd, 2025 Fulbright Campus Endorsement Deadline. Graduate students who will not have received their PhD by this date are also eligible to apply, as are recent alumni. These awards provide funding to conduct research (any field), teach English, or enroll in a Master's program overseas for the 2026-27 academic year. Foreign language proficiency is not necessarily required; please review the award description for details.

Campus Deadline: Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

A campus nomination is required and late applications will not be considered. Applicants MUST participate in SBU's Fulbright Application Accelerator beginning on Friday, May 30th, 2025.  (Note, if you are reading this after that date, email for advising!)
