The Garcia Research Program mourns the passing of Prof. Brooke Ellison. Prof. Ellison was an eminent scholar who excelled in research, sharing her knowledge with others, and advocating for the advancement of science in the benefit of humanity. She was a pioneer in crafting the concept of holistic ethical conduct and we all benefited from her classes where she taught us the principals of multi-dimensional thinking in everything we do. In the Garcia Research Program we are committed to continuing her legacy of science research while championing the human spirit, and ensuring the inclusion of all . We are committed to continuing her projects in stem cell regenerative medicine, robotics for creating greater independence, self respect, and opportunities for the disabled, and the continued publication of JESTI, (Journal of Ethics in Scientific and Technological Innovations) which she edited with the high school students in the Garcia Research Program. The Garcia community shares in the grief of her outstanding family, and we are honored that they made it possible for us to spend precious time with her. To quote Prof. John Jerome, “ Brooke was not only a great inspiration, she was a living and vivid example of hope and determination. “
