31st ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON THE GEOLOGY OF LONG ISLAND
AND METROPOLITAN NEW YORK
The 31st annual Long Island Geology Conference will be held on Sunday April 14, 2024 beginning at 9:00 am. The meeting will be held live at Stony Brook University and by Zoom (link provided upon registration).
This year we will also have a field trip to Hither Hills and Eastern Long Island led by Kevin Hatton and Taylor Grandfield of Stony Brook University with support from Dr. Rondi Davies of CUNY Queensborough Community College. This trip will begin at 11 am on Saturday April 13.
Please use the links below to register for the meeting and field trip. The meeting is free of cost. The field trip is asking for a $5 donation (cash or Venmo day of the trip). Funds from the field trip will help support refreshments during the trip and conference.
Abstracts should be submitted by Monday April 1, 2024.
Please use the Abstract Template from the LIG conference website. Titles should be written with the first letter of each word capitalized. Do not use all caps for titles.
Authors should be listed as LastName, A. B., LastName, A. B,.
There is no specific format or length for abstracts.
