Interests: Latin America and the Middle East relations, anti-colonial movements, 20th century Latin America, Global South during the 70s, postcolonial theory.
My work explores the political connections and relations between Latin America and
the Middle East during the 70s, with special attention to the political context of Chile
during the ’70s and the anti-colonial movements of the Middle East. I’m particularly interested
in the study of the cultural diplomacy between both parts of the global south, and the afterlives
of this political encounter under an anti-colonial context.
