Wei Zhu, Ph.D. (UCLA, 1996), Professor and Deputy Chair of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics (http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/~zhu/), is a statistician with expertise in brain imaging analysis, climate (spatial & temporal) modeling, experimental design, and large scale network detection and analysis. She also serves as the Director of the CEWIT Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Laboratories, as well as the Deputy Director of the SBU Center for Finance.
