SUNYS Got Your Back

STONY BROOK, N.Y., April, 2017

The Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity is participating 
in SUNY's Got Your Back -- a project to collect comfort kits for 
victims and survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence 
throughout New York State.  Kits put together here are Stony Brook 
will be used in the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Center at 
the Stony Brook Medicine ER.

We will be collecting donations and assembling kits in 
collaboration with student groups on Monday, October 10 from 8:30 
am 0 3:00 pm in the Student Activities Center (SAC) Ballroom B.  
Please come by with a donation.

Items that are needed most in the SANE Center are:
Gender Neutral T-Shirts and Sweatpants of all sizes
Undergarments in all sizes -- including sports bras
Travel Size Toiletries including soap, conditioner, shampoo 
deodorant and feminine products
Mini water bottles and non-perishable snacks
2 pocket folders
