Focus on the crossroads between German Idealism and Phenomenology

Andrés Alonso Martos is a Bachelor and MA in Philosophy at the Universidad de Valencia (Spain) and PhD student in Philosophy at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain).His dissertation deals with the notions of mindset (Gesinnung) and trust (Vertrauen) in Kant’s and Hegel’s thought. He has co-translated Anthony J. Steinbock’s Home and Beyond. Generative Phenomenology After Husserl (Northwestern University Press, 1995) into Spanish as Mundo familiar y Mundo ajeno. La fenomenología generativa tras Husserl (Ediciones Sígueme, 2022). He has been a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Subjectivity Research (University of Copenhagen, Denmark). He is also a research assistant in the Alexis de Tocqueville Chair at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile) and editor-in-chief of Cuadernos Tocqueville.
