About the Wang Conference Center
The Campus of Stony Brook University provides more than 1000 acres of buildings, athletic facilities and grounds and is a central area for the development of innovation and technology. It’s situated on the beautiful north shore of Long Island bordering the quaint and historic village of Stony Brook. Wang Center Meeting Rooms
These multipurpose rooms offer seating capacities from 5-110 people. Ideal for small to marge business or group meetings, each space is equipped with wireless internet and have complimentary A/V set ups, including zoom capabilities for virtual attendees.

A 239-seat theater hosts audiences for the performing arts and other events. Well equipped with conference facilities, the Center holds two mid-sized lecture halls that are wired for laptops and the most current audiovisual presentations.

The two lecture halls located within the Wang Center feature superior acoustics in an arena style presentation environment. Seating in Lecture Hall 1 is outfitted with tablet arm desks. Seating in Lecture Hall 2 features fixed desk areas with individual outlets for each participant

The Main, Skylight, Theater and Zodiac Galleries are open air lobbies, that can be used for seated dinners or causal lunches within your conference setting. Our lobbies can accommodate a variety of layouts for all types of gathering and events. The exhibits throughout the Wang Center change twice a year which offer and special appeal to all our guests.
East Hall
The East Hall features a calming bamboo garden with a skylight for a subtle and natural light. The peaceful vibe is ideal for a more intimate reception or meal, but the flexibility of seating can accommodate up to 80 for lectures and performances.
