Banking: Island Federal Credit Union (IFCU)

Hauppauge-based Island Federal Credit Union (“Island”) entered into a campus wide corporate partnership agreement with Stony Brook University. Island will provide a robust and elevated level of banking services and financial products designed and marketed specifically to the Stony Brook University community and its alumni.

This long term arrangement includes one retail banking branch site and several ATMs located throughout the campus.

The agreement is facilitated by the Auxiliary Services Association, a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides auxiliary services to the Stony Brook University community.

BRANCH LOCATION, HOURS, AND STAFF

The branch is CLOSED on the following holidays:

  • New Years Day (January 1)
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day (Third Monday in January)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day (First Monday in September)
  • Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

Note: only the on-campus IFCU branch is open on the following Federal Reserve Bank holidays: President's Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day
