Dishin' With Democracy a podcast focused on discussing civic topics! This Legacy Project created by members of the Center for Civic Justice from Stony Brook University to engage the campus community through group interviews with guests on topics such as voter education, fiscal responsibility, money in politics, and so much more. Husbaan Sheikh ('22) and Julia Brandenstein's ('22 & '23) project groups worked hard to put this show together! Special episodes were hosted to celebrate our Community Partners such as Up to Us and Democracy Matters. Marya Zhunio's ('23) project group worked hard to continue the legacy of this show by discussing the topic of immigration. They dove into various aspects of the topic and how it affects the students and faculty members at Stony Brook University.
