Welcome to the IEC

"For over 35 years, the IEC has been offering excellent programs helping international students achieve their goal of learning English for academic or personal purposes.  The rigorous curriculum combined with cultural and social events provide students a dynamic environment to improve their language skills, create new friendships, and prepare for future success.  Students with conditional admission attend the IEC  to enhance their academic English skills and prepare for a successful transition to undergraduate or graduate study at Stony Brook University.
