As a Licensing Associate, Valery Matthys works closely with Stony Brook University’s faculty members to protect and commercialize their innovations. Her focus is on Life Sciences technologies. Prior to joining the Intellectual Property Partners in 2014, Valery worked as a Technology Commercialization Fellow at the Center for Biotechnology and held post-doctoral positions in virology and stem cell biology labs at Stony Brook University. Valery received her a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Genetics Program at Stony Brook University in 2009.
