The Department of Neurobiology currently has 23 faculty with substantial research strengths in neural development, circuit function, computation, cellular communication through receptors, channels and synapses and neurological and psychiatric diseases. Our faculty are educators in the classroom and in the lab, teaching courses in Undergraduate Biology (BIO), Neurobiology Master's courses (NEU) and PhD level courses (BNB). We employee office & lab staff, researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral associates, and encourage a sense of community in our Master's and Doctoral programs.
