*Please CONFIRM your nomination status before completing or submitting an application for the program. Nominated students
will also be sent an invitation to apply (please allow up to 48 hours from time of
nomination) but sometimes these emails are blocked/filtered if a school email is submitted.
Be sure to use an email on the application that you can check/receive mail.

*requires upload of a transcript/grade report (PDF) [unofficial grade report/transcript
is acceptable]
Applicants will be asked and required to select their top three (3) choices of preferred
mentor/areas of research interest on the online aplication. To view the listing of faculty research mentors available for summer '25 , please

Upon submitting the online application form/transcript, applicants will receive an
automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of their application submission.
Note to students on letters of recommendation: It is the responsibility of the applicant to share the link to the 2 teachers from
his/her high school who are writing recommendations; applicants should follow up with
their teachers directly to ensure that their letters are submitted by the application
deadline.
(Optional) 3rd letter: Students who have previously been involved in research at a university/research institution
(not required for admission) are encouraged to request an additional letter of recommendation
from their previous research supervisor/mentor.
