Are you thinking about a career in higher education?

The Division of Student Affairs is excited to offer a fellowship opportunity
for students from underrepresented groups who are interested in a future career in Student Affairs.

This paid fellowship will allow you to learn more about the field, provide you with an introduction to the graduate program in Higher Education Administration, and connect you with current leaders within the Division, all while earning credits toward your undergraduate degree.  Fellowship participants will be compensated with an hourly rate for 12 hours per week.

Interested undergraduate students will apply in the spring of their junior year.  The fellowship begins in the fall of their senior year and continues through graduation.  Read below for more information.

About The Program

The Division of Student Affairs Fellowship is a pathways program designed to provide a guided internship, mentorship, and networking opportunities for undergraduates from historically underrepresented and marginalized groups interested in pursuing a career in the Higher Education and Student Affairs professions.  

This fellowship will allow you to learn more about the field, provide you with an introduction to the graduate program in Higher Education Administration, and connect you with current leaders within Student Affairs, all while earning credits toward your undergraduate degree. This program is open to undergraduate students to apply in their junior year. Applications are due by March 22 (extended deadline). Selected candidates will be offered an interview with decisions made in April. The program is intended to begin for the selected fellows in the fall of their senior year.
