A Letter from the Director
Warmest regards!
I am thrilled to present our upcoming season of cultural programs. This fall, we have curated a diverse array of exhibitions, workshops, films, lectures, and performances that celebrate the richness of Asian traditions and contemporary creativity.
Our offerings include the serene art of Japanese flower arranging, the intricate craft of bonsai, and enlightening lectures that explore both traditional and modern Asian art and culture. We also feature a selection of captivating films and delightful shadow puppet shows that promise to inspire.
We are particularly excited to showcase the extraordinary talent of the Indonesian artist Mulyana, who transforms mundane yarn into stunning works of art. His imaginative creations not only highlight the beauty of everyday materials but also invite us to see the natural world from a new perspective.
These programs are designed to provide you with unique experiences that highlight the beauty of Asian cultural heritage. We hope they will educate and entertain you, as well as give you a glimpse into the vibrant traditions and innovative artistry that define Asian cultures.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Charles B. Wang Center.
Best wishes,
Jinyoung A. Jin
Director of Asian Art and Culture
