Students who hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field such as another engineering discipline, physical science, or mathematics, with a grade point average of at least 3.0 or equivalent in undergraduate-level courses in relevant fields such as Calculus (I, II, III), Physics (with lab components), core mechanical engineering courses, and core civil engineering courses

- Assigned in student's area of interest before registration. Students receiving financial aid must select a thesis research advisor before the start of their second semester.
Academic Standing
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all coursework

- 30 credits of approved graduate coursework
