Graduate Student Recruitment

We are always seeking talented and motivated graduate students to join our program. Most funding for graduate students is provided through research project or teaching assistantships (RPAs or TAs). All applicants are automatically considered for RPA/TA support during the faculty committee's review of their formal graduate application. No separate application is required for RPA/TA positions.

After admission recommendations are made by the department faculty committee, funding decisions for RPA positions are determined by individual recruiting faculty, while funding for TA positions is decided by the department’s graduate program committee. PhD students are given priority in funding decisions.
