Hands-Only CPR and AED Training

Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an "out-of-hospital" setting (such as at home, school, or work).

Hands-Only CPR can be just as effective as conventional CPR when performed correctly and in a timely manner. Combined with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), survival rates can increase dramatically in the setting of sudden cardiac arrest!

This training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to respond and help a victim of sudden cardiac arrest! It will also provide an understanding of signs, symptoms, and actions to take as part of Early Heart Attack Care (EHAC).

NOTE: This is not a certification class and requires participants to perform several minutes of chest compressions on a training manikin performed on the floor. If you require special accommodations in order to perform the skills, please let us know so we can ensure your training experience is successful.
