Located in Humanities 2009, the Stony Brook University Writing Center is a free resource available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Appointments can be made online or in person.

THE PURDUE OWL

Students may consult the Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) at any stage of the writing process, as it covers a comprehensive range of topics from general writing and research tips to MLA formatting and citation guidelines.

OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY

The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is widely considered an authority on the English language, making it an excellent resource for information on meaning, usage, and etymology.
