Mercury Free

Stony Brook University Hospital is striving to be mercury-free. The Hospital is committed to eliminating mercury-containing products. In the Hospital the following are mercury-free:

• Thermometers
• Blood Pressure Units (except some used for calibration)
• Switches
• Most Laboratory Chemicals
• Most Vaccines
