IACS Faculty Retreat

IACS Faculty and Affiliates are invited to attend the IACS Faculty Retreat scheduled for April 1. The meeting will be held at Child's Mansion in Stony Brook from noon-4pm. Agenda is below. To RSVP, please send an email to Sarena.Romano@stonybrook.edu.

Directions to Childs Mansion, 19 Shore Drive, Old Field

(10 minutes from the north entrance ~4 miles)

• Take Nicolls Road North to end
• Make a left onto 25A
• Make a right at your first light onto Quaker Path
• After fourth stop sign bear left onto Mt. Grey Road
• After passing West Meadow Rd., look for tan brick pillars with spheres on the top on the left and then a "Do Not Enter Sign" and a second small roadway with a white post with the name Crane Neck Road
• Turn left onto Crane Neck Road
• Take Crane Neck Road for 1/4 mile to the bottom of a right-hand descending turn Make a right onto Shore Drive, which is marked with another white post and a forked entrance
• Childs Mansion is the large whitish colonial house on the left
• Continue past it to the end of the road
• Make a left into the Flax Pond Lab parking lot
