On December 2, 2014, IACS held its second annual anniversary dinner at the Fifth Season in Port Jefferson. Sixty guests were in attendance and enjoyed cocktails and conversation throughout the evening. IACS Director Robert Harrison spoke briefly, thanking all those in attendance for helping to make the institute a success. He was followed by SBU Provost Dennis Assanis and Robert Tribble, the Deputy Director for Science and Technology at Brookhaven National Laboratory, who both talked about the prospects of a bright future as a result of collaborations slated for the two institutions.
