Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE) is published by China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP), and produced and hosted by Elsevier. MRE is committed to the publication of original research and comprehensive and in-depth review papers in all areas of experimental and theoretical physics on matter and radiation at extremes. MRE aims to provide a peer-reviewed Open-Access platform for the international physics community and promote worldwide dissemination of the latest and best research in related fields.

The journal scope is Fundamental (atomic, nuclear,  plasma, innovative accelerator) physics at extremes, Laser, particle beam and magnetic driven fusion, Pulsed power technology and high power electromagnetics, High pressure physics and materials science, including related numerical simulation and computational technology.  “It is worth mentioning that MRE doesn’t charge its authors for the Open Access ”, reports Predrag Krstic, who has just returned from the 2nd Editorial Board meeting of MRE in Beijing. More detailed information about MRE can be found at homepage: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/matter-and-radiation-at-extremes/.
