Astrid (she/her)
Hi, my name is Astrid! I’m a senior majoring in psychology and sociology, hoping to pursue a career in mental health counseling. In addition to being a Peer Support Intern, I work as a research assistant for Stony Brook Medicine’s FDNY Study, where I aid in investigating cognitive decline in 9/11 first responders. Outside work, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, working out, and trying new things. As an extension of the Student Support Team, I am beyond excited to help students with their circumstances and positively impact the school community. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns or if you want someone to chat to! -
