Quantum 3-body Coulomb Problem: A Numerical Challenge

Current status of 3-body Coulomb problem (negative hydrogen ion, helium atom, lithium ion etc) will be described. Major emphasis will be given to questions of stability vs Coulomb charge and to analytic structure of the ground state energy.
