Fire Evacuation Plans

Each patient unit has an evacuation plan posted in a central location showing that units evacuation procedures. It is the responsibility of each staff member to read and be familiar with it.

A component of patient evacuation is the use of Paraslydes which allows for rapid transfer of patients during fire emergencies. For more information and training on a Paraslyde, contact the emergency management office.
